KNITTED COWL - BLUE AND WHITE INFINITY SCARF
KNITTED INFINITY SCARF/ COWL/ WRAP PATTERN
MATERIALS USED:
1 skein (400m) Merino Gold Turquoise (Ice yarn)
50 m white acrylic yarn
knitting needles (3mm)/ Knitting Machine TD6
MEASUREMENTS:
Cowl measures 48" in circumference and 6.2" in width
This cowl is knitted in 2 pieces and joined together. Each piece is knitted as follows.
PATTERN
Cast on 160 stitches. Rib 3/1. Knit 12 rows.
Knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch.
Knit Row no. 17 to 35 including Motifs. Space the motifs equally. Each motif is made of 9 stitches and 19 rows. The pattern for the motif is shown in the pictures above.
There will be 8 motifs between row 17 to 35.
Knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch.
Row 40 to 59 will have 8 motifs but alternately spaced with reference to the motifs knitted earlier.
Knit 4 rows.
Knit a rib of 3 /1 till row 75.
Bind off.
Make another piece similar to the above one and join both the ends to make an infinity scarf. Hide the tails.
